2012 SEASON FORMAT
-
The league runs 17 weeks
starting April 30, 2012 and going through August 27, 2012.
We will be off on Memorial Day this year (May 28th).

4 person teams
-
Players will play individual
matches against players from other teams each week. These
matches will alternate between stroke and match play events
and will be based on player’s handicap.
-
Each fourth week of the league
will feature our BIG CUPS. These weeks you will play with
your entire team and try to score low in both best ball and
scramble formats.

There will be a first half
champ and second half champ who will face each other in the
championship week 17. There will also be consolation matches
for the other teams.

REMEMBER: all matches are
handicapped and designed to make for a fair and fun match
regardless of skill level!

SCORING:
-
Match winners will receive 5
points. If the match ends in a tie, each player will receive
2.5 points for their team.

Field events (longest putt,
closest to the pin, etc.) are worth 1 point each. There will
be 5 field events every week.

In the big cup weeks, points
will be awarded to each team who places in the top 3. There
will also be field events these weeks worth 1 point.
1st Place: 7.5 points
2nd Place: 5 points
3rd Place: 2.5 points
PRICING:
-
The cost for the league is
$270 for the year and can be paid in two separate
installments of $135 for each half of the league. This price
includes 17 weeks of golf and the league fee.

Member price is $40 for the
year.
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:
-
If your opponent is absent,
you will play against your own handicap plus 3 strokes.
Thus, if you are a 5 handicap you can shoot up to 7 over and
win and 8 over to tie.

If you can’t make a week, you
will be able to make up the round for free during the week.
-
There will be a banquet after
the final week featuring a free dinner for the players and
prizes will be awarded.
